This image reflects when the Springboks
visited a poor community on Johannesburg, South Africa. They go there because
they were trying to unify the white side of the country that was the British people
with the other side that were the black people. With this beautiful action
Mandela was trying to stop a civil war that it will destroyed the country and
his people.
In the photo you can see how the
Springboks share a whole afternoon playing rugby with little children of the
poorness side of Johannesburg. In the photo all the boys seem to be very happy
and having a good time.
The Springboks team was dressed with sports
clothes with a sweater of the team, shorts and studs. And in the other side the
poor children were dressed with worn out shirts, shorts and a pair of shoes.
The actions were that they were passing
the ball from side to side and clapping at the same time, the expressions of
their faces were of extremely happiness and surprise from the children, because
they never had the opportunity of playing rugby.
